Since the beginning of 2020, wildfires have burned more than 3.2 million acres in California, an area roughly the size of Connecticut. Unfortunately, the 2021 California fire season is off to a devastating start. Currently, CAL FIRE reports over a dozen active wildfires, including the massive Dixie Fire that has consumed over 733,000 acres and over 1,200 structures in Butte, Lassen and Plumas counties.
